Legal
Terms of Use
Last updated: August 21, 2026
These terms describe the deal between you and us when you use Case Study Creator. We've kept them as short and readable as we can. The short version: your work stays yours, AI output needs your review, and you're the one who decides what gets published.
1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using Case Study Creator, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18, or the legal age to enter a contract where you live. If you're using the service for a business, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms on that business's behalf.
3. Your account
Give accurate information when you sign up, keep your login credentials secure, and take responsibility for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it.
4. Permitted use
You may use Case Study Creator to collect material, investigate it, format it into case studies and publish or export the results for your own business or for clients you're authorised to represent.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you submit — notes, transcripts, testimonials, files, metrics and the case studies you produce. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service: to store, process, display back to you, and generate outputs from your material at your request. We don't claim ownership of your work.
6. Client and confidential material
Much of what goes into a case study belongs to someone else. You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and process the material you bring in, including client names, logos, quotes, recordings, screenshots and confidential documents. Any confidentiality or contractual obligations you have to a client remain yours to honour.
7. AI-assisted output
Case Study Creator uses AI to help extract, structure and draft. Output is assistance, not a finished, verified deliverable. Before you use or publish anything, you are responsible for checking:
- Accuracy of facts, dates, names and descriptions.
- Metrics, results and any numerical claim.
- Quotes and testimonials, and that they were genuinely given.
- Permission to name a client or use their material.
- Whether any claim needs qualification, evidence or professional review.
The product is deliberately evidence-first — it asks for sources and flags gaps rather than filling them in. That design helps, but it does not guarantee accuracy, and it does not make an output legally or commercially safe to publish.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use Case Study Creator to:
- Do anything unlawful, or infringe someone else's rights.
- Impersonate a person, business or client.
- Fabricate testimonials, outcomes, metrics or other deceptive claims.
- Upload malware, probe or attack the service, or bypass security controls.
- Attempt to access another user's workspace, data or shared content.
- Abuse, overload or resell the platform in ways these terms don't allow.
9. Intellectual property
The service itself — the interface, software, branding and proprietary functionality — remains owned or licensed by us. These terms don't transfer any of that to you. Your content and the case studies you produce remain yours, subject to any underlying rights held by your clients or other third parties.
10. Availability and changes
We're actively developing Case Study Creator. Features may change, be added or be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times for maintenance or reasons outside our control.
11. Third-party services
The service depends on third-party infrastructure, authentication and AI providers. Their performance and terms are outside our control, and we're not responsible for third-party services you choose to connect or use alongside Case Study Creator.
12. Disclaimers
Case Study Creator is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI output will be accurate, or that using it will produce any particular business, sales or marketing result.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost business, lost data, or the consequences of content you chose to publish. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent applicable law allows.
14. Indemnity
You agree to cover us for claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from the material you submit, your use of the service in breach of these terms or the law, and your decisions about what to publish or share.
15. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access to an account that breaches these terms, creates risk for other users, or is used unlawfully. Some provisions — ownership, disclaimers, liability and indemnity — survive termination.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continuing to use the service after an update means the revised terms apply to you.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the service provider, subject to any mandatory legal protections that apply to you where you live.
